5G-X High Speed Internet: August 31, 2018 Update – Joshua, Alvarado, Lake Richland Chambers

The 5G-X team has been working hastily on delivering high-speed internet to rural communities. We have streamlined our business plan so that we are able to respond more quickly to demand and service larger areas at a time.

Here’s a quick glance at our progress and what is to come:

Joshua

• Three pole locations added to the current service area
• Equipment installed
• Technicians working on optimizing signal
• Now scheduling appointments

Alvarado

• First batch of pole locations selected
• Fiber and electricity ordered
• Poles fabricated
• Poles scheduled to be installed
• Proposed release: Fall of 2018

Lake Richland Chambers

• First batch of pole locations selected
• Poles currently being fabricated
• Fiber and electricity ordered
• Proposed release: Fall of 2018
